a recent read i recommend is this great bit of sci-fi based around a technological singularity
after that, I dedided to go back through gibson's early cyberpunk

(i do need to pick up a few more to fill out the set)

yesterday i decided to catalog my bookshelf; over to the right you can see how it worked out

while i've pretty much just hitting shuffle on the ipod =),
a couple of artists I have been enjoying lately are angels & airwaves and matisyahu
i've also been subscribing to more podcasts (itunes==siren); I'm currently getting:

while waiting for UT3, i'm still with civilization iv (clearly my favorite game of all time)
picked up the add-on, so now the addiction is even worse
